Who Are We – The Joseph Smith Jr & Emma Hale Smith Historical Society

The Joseph Smith Jr. and Emma Hale Smith Historical Society (JSEHS) is a non-profit organization operated by descendants of Joseph Smith and Emma that promotes knowledge and understanding of the life and times, teachings, and heritage of Joseph Smith, Jr. and Emma Hale Smith.

People throughout the years have been inspired by the lives and legacy of these great individuals.

History has taught us that great men and women pave the way for us to live better lives. As we seek to foster a greater understanding about the significance and importance of the contributions made by both Joseph, and Emma, we will also be able to contribute towards the future well-being of individuals throughout the world. We will gain a deeper understanding of truth, honor, religion, and have the opportunity to learn from many who share a vision of a better world.

We wish to extend to each of you the opportunity to learn more about these remarkable people, and to participate in a variety of activities that are available to all members of the JSEHS Historical Society.
